HKGRACE will increase the fee for melee screening service with effective on 1st January 2023. The screening service fee for loose diamond with size under 0.20ct will be HK$150 per carat.  The screening service fee for diamond with size 0.20ct and up remain unchanged; HK$50 per piece.

Below is the guideline for our customer on how to prepare the melee diamond parcel before sending to us for the melee screening service.

Guideline:

1. For each lot of diamond, please provide sieve size, number of pieces (if applicable) and carat weight (must) in the service request form and on the parcel bag.
2. Please sieve all the diamond according to the Diamond Sieve Range* as listed below.
3. One lot can only contain stones that fall into one of the sieve ranges in the table.
4. All diamonds must be cleaned before submitting to us for screening.

Please note that we will return or charge for the goods which do not meet the requirement of the service guideline. A flat rate of HK$100 service fee per carat will be charged for those parcels which are needed additional preparation work, such as cleaning or sieving, prior to the melee screening service.
